  • TumbleBooks

    TumbleBooks are presented by Andover Public Library for its readers. The TumbleBooks collection includes story books, puzzles and games, language learning, and audiobooks for children. It is designed for hours of entertainment for children. New books are added to make it different each time children log in. They register to choose favorites, mark their place, and learn new things.

  • TumbleReadables

    TumbleReadables, a subscription offered by Andover Public Library, is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle school, and high school students which features adjustable online text and complete audio narration. Sentences are highlited as they are being read and the pages turn automatically. The collection features chapter books, early readers, YA/Teen Novels, high interest/low level books for both middle school and high school students, plus classics of American and English literature.

    Read-Alongs are great for emergent, struggling, and reluctant readers, as well as being an excellent tool for ESL. They are also well received by strong and accomplished readers who are excited to follow along to the narration of their favorite books. Children, who are now growing up with e-mail, instant messaging, IPODs, and text messaging are early and willing adopters to this innovative online reading experience.

    A special web site of dozens of electonic books purchased by Andover Public Library for the benefit of our readers.

    TumbleTalkingBooks is ideal for readers of all ages and abilities and those learning English as a second language. TumbleTalkingBooks also offers a new category of library service to visually or mobility impaired members who want access to high quality recordings of popular books, delivered 24/7 to their computer via the Internet. While helpful for those with reading problems, TumbleTalkingBooks also offers all our readers an e book option for enjoying online access to new and interesting titles.

    WOWIO is a website from which you can download and read exciting books on all topics. Reading is free and there is no hassle in signing up for the site.

    Ohio’s Home Weatherization Assistance Program is a federally funded low-income residential

    energy efficiency program. Services include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-doorguided

    air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety

    testing and inspections. All measures are provided based upon an on-site energy audit and on

    cost-effective guidelines. Individualized client education also is an important component of the

    program.
