      Collection of information about authors, books, provided by OPLIN. Just search for your favorite author and find other authors who are "read-a likes." Find background information and suggestions for your reading pleasure. Just put into the search box: "read alike" AND author name to find other books "like" your favorite. ...For Example, type in:

      +"read-a like"+Mary Higgins Clark+ 

      and see what you can find! The first results will be latest books by your author, and under those will be all sorts of other books you can read.

    • INFOHIO: The PV Middle School Library Catalog

      PV Middle School students can search INFOHIO right from the web page of Andover Public Library. Remember, the Andover Public Library Catalog is a separate list of over 210,000 items in six public libraries in Ashtabula County.

      INFOHIO is the online catalog which gives you the location of the books you can check out from the PV Middle School Library.

      ICAN is the Independently Cooperating Ashtabula Network of Public Libraries and DOES NOT contain the holdings of the PV Middle School Library. 

      To locate a book, Middle School students at Pymatuning Valley need to consult BOTH catalogs. If the book you want is not in INFOHIO and it is not in the ICAN Catalog, the Library staff members will order it for you and you can check it out from either the Middle School Library or the Andover Public Library.

      The Ashtabula County Community Action Agency web site has information about the HEAP program. Applications are online and also available at Andover Public Library.

      energy efficiency program. Services include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-doorguided

      air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety

      testing and inspections. All measures are provided based upon an on-site energy audit and on

      cost-effective guidelines. Individualized client education also is an important component of the

      program.
